Helping You Navigate Stress, Change, and Emotional Challenges
I provide a supportive, client-centered space where you can explore challenges, build resilience, and move forward with confidence.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, life transitions, trauma, and cultural or identity-related concerns. My approach integrates evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness, tailored to your individual needs.
Therapy with me is a space where you can show up as yourself. You don’t need to have everything figured out to begin.
MEET MARIA
I’m a bilingual and bicultural therapist who believes therapy works best when it feels human, not intimidating.
Clients often tell me they appreciate my calm presence, warmth, and ability to help them make sense of complicated emotions without overcomplicating things.
I bring over 15 years of experience to my work, along with curiosity, a sense of humor when appropriate, and a genuine interest in who you are beyond what brought you to therapy.
My style is grounded and collaborative. We’ll think things through together, build practical tools, and move at a pace that feels right for you.
Outside of therapy, I value connection, culture, and balance. I believe these are just as important to healing as insight.
MY APPROACH
In our first session, the focus is on helping you feel comfortable and understood. I’ll invite you to share what brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain from our work together.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and goal-oriented. We’ll talk through your priorities, answer any questions you have about the process, and begin identifying a path forward that aligns with your values.
As we continue, our work will remain focused and supportive. We’ll build on what we’ve discussed, check in on your goals, and adjust our approach as your needs evolve.
Sessions may include reflection, skill-building, and practical strategies you can apply between sessions. Throughout the process, I encourage open communication so therapy remains meaningful and relevant to you.
